Technomar Shipping Inc. is seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent Engineer to join their Technical department. As an Assistant Superintendent Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall maintenance and operation of our vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent Engineer in overseeing the technical operations of assigned vessels.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure vessels are operating efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

Job requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related field
• Previous experience working in a technical role within the shipping industry
• Strong knowledge of container vessel operations and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency in relevant software and technical tools
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
