Glyfada-based Ship Management Company is seeking to recruit a Vetting Officer to join its Marine Operations department. This concerns a full-time, on-site position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor the inspection schedule for the Tanker and Dry Cargo fleets
• Liaise with third parties to organize inspections
• Follow up on inspection results until closure
• Compile reports using statistics and data
• Prepare and maintain manuals and plans such as SOPEP, US VRP, CA etc.

Requirements:

• a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• practical knowledge of OCIMF, RightShip, SIRE 2.0 and RISQ 3.2
• excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
• strong organizational and teamwork skills

The ideal candidate:

• has a Technical or Marine background
