TMS Tankers Ltd. is currently looking to recruit a Junior Supply Operator who will be responsible to execute all purchasing activities in accordance with Company policy and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and register requisitions in the relevant system, and upon confirmation, send them to suppliers to receive the respective offers.
• Prepare all necessary documentation for the transportation of goods to the vessels, including invoices / customs, delivery notes, packing lists and other relevant documents, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Evaluate submitted offers and negotiate terms and conditions to optimize both cost and quality.
• Ensure all items are delivered to the respective vessels on time and evaluate the quality of services provided by suppliers to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions, according to TMS Tankers standards.
• Maintain, update and verify that all shipment records are in accordance with quotations.
• Liaise with the Accounting department to resolve any discrepancies related to receiving invoices.
• Report expenses versus budget on a regular basis, on the assigned vessels.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in any discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
• IT literate, especially with MS Office
• Fluency in English, orally and in writing
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
