This online (live) course will provide participants with the appropriate knowledge, skills and qualification in order to be effectively involved in the audit procedures of management systems of shipping companies, with a focus on the Safety Management System as required by the International Safety Management Code (ISM Code).

The course approaches the audit process in the context of international standards (ISO 19011, ‘Guidelines for auditing management systems’) and therefore, it is equally suitable for professionals who are, or will be, involved in auditing procedures of other binding maritime regulations (ISPS, MLC) and applicable standards (ISO).
