Tanker operations activities are part of the complexity of the sector. Through this course, the participants will be able to gain advanced knowledge of the day to day operations of the tanker market and the responsibilities covering the commercial operational, bunkers, finance and agency areas.

Instructor’s resume

Cpt Dimitris Panagiotidis has served the Shipping industry from the position of Operations Manager / senior Operator since 1992 in Major Greek Shipping Companies and lately, was Deputy Operations Manager of Prime Tanker Management Inc (Crude/Product/Chemical tankers & LPGs). Having realized the importance of transferring experience to new generation, he delivers seminars on the subject of day to day Tanker Operations & Financial activities since 1999. He teaches Tanker Chartering and Tanker Operations at HMC/ICS Greek Branch.
