TMS Tankers Ltd. is looking to hire a Bunkering Desk Handler. The role is responsible to monitor the market for price and quality levels, availability and potential suppliers as well as to manage bunker purchases and regularly exploit opportunities for cost control. Regular reporting on bunkering expenses and market trends is a core responsibility too.
The applicants interested should meet the below requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Bunkering desk of a tanker ship management company or in a bunker trader.
- University degree in the areas of shipping, engineering, marine or economics
- Good understanding of bunkering GT&Cs and contracts
- IT literate particularly with MS Office and previous experience with commercial tools
- Excellent negotiation skills, proactiveness and the ability to work with own initiative
- Proven planning, organizational and analytical skills
- Ease to work under tight deadlines while being a strong team player
