The Ship Trading Division of ENESEL Group is seeking a Time Charter Freight Controller to join its growing team in Athens.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial oversight and operational control of the company’s global portfolio of time-chartered vessels. The position requires close collaboration with our international offices in Dubai, Singapore, Chile, Germany, and Brazil, ensuring smooth coordination across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and reconcile invoices related to Time Charter vessels
- Monitor hire statements, off-hire calculations, and freight settlements
- Investigate and support the resolution of disputes (e.g. off-hire claims, performance discrepancies) in close coordination with the Operations team
- Monitor receivables and payables to ensure full compliance with Charter Party agreements
- Prepare detailed voyage performance reports
- Analyze variances against TCE (Time Charter Equivalent) and P&L forecasts
- Support internal reporting and financial performance tracking of the chartered fleet
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in shipping, freight invoicing/reconciliation, or a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Economics, or related field.
- Experience with shipping ERP systems (e.g., IMOS) or freight management platforms
- Fluent English (C2 level or equivalent), written and spoken
