Job Responsibilities
- Monitoring vessels PMS, Defects Reports, Superintendents Orders and D/D jobs requests status
- Responsible for the population of the PMS in line with PMS Change Approvals Database, Technical Team instructions, manuals, bulletins etc
- Introducing and/or updating the PMS in terms of Spare Parts List, Bulletins, jobs, Vessel’s Specs for the entire fleet
- Alerts Superintendents on outstanding jobs and follow up in coordination with the Technical Director and Superintendent Engineers vessels performance and reporting statistics
- Monitoring unscheduled jobs throughout the fleet and bringing to the Technical team attention potential systemic issues and/or recurrences
- Following up and supporting spare parts inventory update in the vessels subject to actual needs and status, attending vessels too if required for on board inventory checking and update
- Keeping forms and ensuring/processing the Technical Department Filing system
- Updating KPI records
Job Specifications (Skills & Qualifications)
Education Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge of Main & Auxiliary Engines
Experience Requirements
Minimum 1 year previous experience in a relevant position
