Maran Dry Management Inc., one of the world’s leading ship management companies and part of the Angelicoussis Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Spare Parts Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures that all spare parts are delivered safely and on time to avoid any delays in maintenance and repairs (scheduled or unscheduled);
• Obtains, evaluates and approves, in cooperation with the Technical department, quotations for the supply of spare parts, using in house SOA (Spares Orders Approval) system;
• Negotiates with the suppliers in order to acquire the best possible quality spare parts at the best possible price & time;
• Monitors the status of pending orders as well as vessels’ schedules with the aim to coordinate the forwarding plan and combine multiple orders from various origins to the minimum amount of shipments & significantly reduce the handling and customs clearance costs in ports;
• Cooperates with the other Spares Managers in order to exploit Group’s dynamics and obtain even better prices due to the large volume;

Candidate must have:

• 5+ years of experience in relevant field
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Fluency in the English Language (written and oral)
• Team spirit, excellent communication & leadership skills
