Alpha Gas S.A., a ship management company based in Greece, specializing in the management and operation of LNGCs/VLGCs is looking for a Chartering Analyst to join its commercial team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the negotiation of spot and period charters, to achieve maximum income.
- Prepare regular chartering and market reports.
- Support internal reporting processes and chartering/market analysis.
- Assist with administrative coordination of chartering activities, including documentation, fixtures follow-up, and maintain accurate chartering records.
- Support contract reviews and maintain familiarity with LNG/LPG charter party terms and conditions.
- Reporting to Chartering Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of chartering/commercial experience.
- The determination to produce results to the highest of standards.
- A desire to increase efficiency and productivity without losing attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate methods and results through presentations and written reports.
- A competent and relevant appreciation of LNG/LPG Charter Parties and terms.
