Full Stack Developer (Python / Django)
Full-time | On-site Athens/Greece
Role Overview
Almi Marine is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Junior to Mid-level) with a strong focus on Python and Django to contribute to the development of a modern maritime web application.
You will be involved in back-end development, designing and building robust APIs and business logic using Python and Django, and a responsive front-end development with HTML/CSS/JS.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Experience with Django
- Experience working with relational databases (MS SQL or PostgreSQL)
- Basic experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Nice to Have
- Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or other)
- Familiarity with Azure
- Experience with Docker
- Previous exposure to maritime or enterprise software environments
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using Python and Django
- Develop and maintain a responsive UI at the front-end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Design and manage database schemas and queries
- Collaborate with the team to deliver features end-to-end
- Support deployment and maintenance processes (Azure environment)
