DNV GL’s Maritime Academy Hellas is offering on 1 March 2016, a one-day course on Conflict Management.
Conflict exists both within and between individuals, groups or organizations. We’ve all experienced situations where different people with different goals and needs have come into conflict which may result in an often-intense personal animosity. There are usually four levels in the process of conflict: latent, perceived, felt and finally the conflict aftermath.
The fact that conflict exists however, is not necessarily a bad thing: As long as it is resolved effectively, it can lead to personal and professional growth. In many cases, effective conflict resolution can make the difference between positive and negative outcomes.
This seminar will raise the participants’ awareness about conflicts within an organization and will provide them with the necessary knowledge and skills to resolve conflicting situations and strengthen relationships.
The workshop is offered in cooperation with VenLyS (Reputation and Safety solution Services).
