Role Description
Mid level Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare charterparties.
- Liaise with brokers, clients, and counterparties to coordinate post-fixture activities including identifying and resolving operational issues promptly.
- Monitor vessel schedules, instructions, and operational performance.
- Act as the main liaison between owners and charterers during the life of a fixture.
- Collaborate with management to ensure best practices are followed.
- Assist Captain with the operations of vessels under management
Qualifications
Degree in Shipping (preferred).
- Prior experience in operations at a broker and/or owner required (minimum 3 years maximum 10 years); please DO NOT apply if you do not fit this criteria.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and colleagues globally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with industry-specific platforms is a plus.
