A Voula-based shipping company which manages a diverse fleet including modern tankers and LPG carriers, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage vessel requisitions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Request quotations from approved vendors, analyze and evaluate offers based on price, terms, and technical compatibility.
- Follow up on deliveries, ensuring timely dispatch and resolving any discrepancies.
- Support in managing the procurement workflow in the ERP system (e.g., Benefit ERP).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Benefit ERP or other procurement systems is an advantage.
- Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
