KYKLADES MARITIME CORPORATION seeks to employ a full-time Performance Department Manager, to lead the Performance Department and drive the optimisation of the energy efficiency and overall operational performance of our fleet. This leadership role ensures regulatory compliance, fosters innovation, and supports decision-making with robust data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

You will oversee the operation of the Performance Department and lead a team to deliver energy optimisation strategies and projects. The main responsibilities include:

• Monitor fleet performance and identify underperformance issues, communicating findings effectively to the technical and operations team
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies related to vessel energy performance, advising on their potential application across the fleet (existing, newbuild, or acquisition candidates)
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct vessel audits and performance assessments, and propose improvement initiatives through technical modifications, retrofits, or training
• Manage energy-related projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
• Collaborate with Technical, ICT and Operations departments for the deployment and utilisation of performance monitoring systems
• Guide energy management during newbuilding design phases and evaluate second-hand tonnage from a performance standpoint
• Deliver technical and training support across departments and to shipboard personnel

Requirements

Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:

• University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or related discipline)
• At least five years of experience in a performance optimisation role within the maritime industry
• Advanced knowledge of vessel performance monitoring, data analytics, and maritime regulation
• Strong project management, communication, and report-writing skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent computer literacy
