Alpha Bulkers Shipmanagement, a leading dry bulk operator with a growing presence in the container segment, is seeking an experienced Chartering Broker (Containers) to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our container portfolio and strengthening our relationships across the global liner and chartering markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate container chartering opportunities
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with liner companies and charterers
- Monitor market trends, rates, and commercial opportunities
- Contribute to strategic decisions for fleet employment and portfolio growth
Qualifications
- University degree (preferably in Shipping, Business, or related fields)
- 8–10 years of proven experience in container chartering/brokering
- Strong market intelligence and negotiation capability
- Commercially driven, well-connected, and highly self-motivated
- Experience in dry cargo chartering considered an asset
- Excellent command of the English language
